FAQs

What do Alpacas eat?
They are grass eating animals. We feed hay and a supplement especially to the females. Alpacas have three stomachs.
How long do Alpacas live?
When you have alpacas, be prepared to have them for a long time. They can live up to 25 years.
When do you breed Alpacas?
Most females are bred around two years of age. They may be bred younger, however, we make sure they are large enough in size to be bred if they are under two years. Most males are at least 2 years old when they are ready to breed. Again there is the exceptions. We have one that bred two females at the age of eighteen months.
